Dear Karate friends

During the WUKO Meeting in Jesolo, Italy, on 16th October 2008, the WUKO President asked to all members for present the proposal for the next World Children, Cadets and Juniors on 2010.

Anyone present the proposal for hosting this next event, then Mr. Osvaldo Messias de Oliveira, President of Confederação Brasileira de Karate Interestilos (CBKI) too, presented the letters of support from Mr.Walter Feldman - Secretary of Sports of São Paulo City, Mr.Claury Santos Silva - Secretary of Sports and Tourism of São Paulo State and Mr.Alexandre Costa - National Secretary of Sports of High Performance of the Ministery of Sports of Brazil.

All letters offering all support for realization of this mega event in São Paulo City, this proposal was voted and was approved by unanimous of the Presidents present in the meeting. The date was confirmed from 8th to 11th July 2010.

Mr.Messias confirmed to follow all necessary List for WUKO Events, like free transportation for all during one week and all obligation for a good and nice competition WUKO.

Mr. Liviu Crisan talked to all about the Open Intercontinental Asian and Oceania in November in Hyderabad, many countries from that region will take part in this important event WUKO, many countries didn't get VISA to Italy but now India will be a good opportunity for all to take part into a WUKO event.

Mr.Valeriy Kusiy President of Jundokan Federation of Ukraine invited all members to the World Championships for Seniors and Veterans in June 2009 in Odessa-Ukraine, he offers posters and other promotion material of this world WUKO event. In January 2009 Mr.Osvaldo Messias and Mr.Liviu Crisan will go to Odessa for final checking of all necessary for a marvelous event in Ukraine.

Mr.Carlos Dias President of AKPMA Portugal presented the news about the European Championships for Seniors and Veterans 2010 and offers posters and books about the host city, Santarem City in Portugal. Mr.Carlos Dias promised to follow all obligations for a perfect WUKO event in Portugal.

Mr. Liviu Crisan, WUKO Vice President, WUKO General Secretary and President of Federatia Romana de Karate explained about the "1st European Championships for Children, Cadets and Juniors in 3rd to 6th of September 2009 in Constanta City, presenting the beautiful and touristic city from the Black Sea Coast.

Federatia Romana Karate will organize a WUKO international referee training, and will offer 40 free places, accommodation and all meals, for invited WUKO referees and will give all support for all participants in this first Continental Children Championships in European Continent.

Mr.Rudi Bruwer invited all presents for to be present in the “1st Continental AFRICA WUKO Championships”, it will be in Pretoria – South Africa, all is ready for receive all friends there, he is sure it will be a very nice WUKO event in that continent.
